Idaho Green Fest Sponsors are leaders in the growth and development of a sustainable community and economy and represent businesses that seek to do well while doing good. By sponsoring, you play a key role in shaping the features that make each Idaho Green Fest special and unique and help ensure the success and longevity of this exciting and meaningful community celebration!

We’re looking for help from the community’s key leaders in the major sustainability realms, including energy production and efficiency, conservation of natural resources, sustainable agriculture, green building and sustainable design, transportation, and community based wellness lifestyles. These are our suggested Sponsorship levels, and we are open to negotiating personalized packages that include partial trade and in-kind donations.

GENERAL SPONSORSHIP LEVELS

CREATING THE VISION SPONSOR: $5,000 or more

  • Company mentioned in radio advertising spots and during the live/on-site broadcast
  • Company mentioned during live stage announcements
  • Company banner hung near stage or in other prominent locations (if banner provided by company)
  • Listed prominently (in contribution amount order with logo) as a Creating  the Vision Sponsor in the program guide, brochures, posters, all print advertising, and website with link
  • Logo and company profile in Sponsor section of program guide
  • Complimentary exhibit space in a preferred location, and option to have a 10×20 booth

MAKING IT HAPPEN SPONSOR: $2,500 to $4,999

  • Company mentioned during live stage announcements
  • Company banner hung near stage or in other prominent locations (if banner provided by company)
  • Listed after Creating the Vision Sponsors as a Making it Happen Sponsor (in contribution amount order with logo) in the program guide, brochures, posters, print advertising (logo in larger-format ads only), and website with link
  • Logo and company profile in Sponsor section of program guide
  • Complimentary exhibit space in a preferred location, and option to have a 10×20 booth

WALKING THE TALK SPONSOR: $1,000 to $2,499

  • Listed after Making it Happen Sponsors as a Walking the Talk Sponsor (in contribution amount order with logo) in the program guide, brochures, posters, print advertising (logo in larger-format ads only), and website with link
  • Logo and company profile in Sponsor section of program guide
  • Complimentary exhibit space in a preferred location, and option to have a 10×20 booth

BUILDING COMMUNITY SPONSOR: $500 to $999

  • Listed after Walking the Talk Sponsors as a Building Community Sponsor (in contribution amount order without logo) in the program guide, brochures, posters, print advertising (listed in larger-format ads only), and website with link
  • Name and company profile in Sponsor section of program guide
  • Complimentary exhibit space in a preferred location

PERSONAL COMMITMENT SPONSOR: $250 to $499

  • Listed after Building Community Sponsors as a Personal Commitment Sponsor (in contribution amount order without logo) in the program guide and website with link
  • Name and company profile in Sponsor section of program guide
  • Complimentary exhibit space in a preferred location

Sponsor Benefits & Marketing

Sponsors can expect to receive much attention before, during and after the festival. The Idaho Green Fest is located in one of the most popular parts of the Treasure Valley in a fun and busy time of year. We expect more than 3000 attendees, including people who come to the event intentionally and those we capture by virtue of our location.

Sponsors will be recognized in event marketing materials with prominence corresponding with the level of Sponsorship (see above).Our marketing plan uses many tactics to target many audiences. Details are subject to change but are generally as follows:

  • Paid Print Advertising in the Boise Weekly
    • Two 1⁄2 page vertical ads
    • One full page ad
  • Paid Radio Advertising
    • Four weeks on 89.9/93.5 FM, Radio Boise:
    • Two weeks on 94.9 FM, The River
    • Live/On-Air Remote Broadcast during portions of the Idaho Green Fest
  • On-site Promotion during event
    • Screens placed near main stage will list Sponsors
    • Many on-stage statements of gratitude to Sponsors will be made during the event.
  • Promotional Brochures and Posters
    • Full-color print pieces with artwork by Ward Hooper will be distributed to targeted individuals, organizations, and businesses (such as coffee shops, music stores, health/nutrition stores, nursery and garden centers, schools, retail stores and other appropriate locations) around the Treasure Valley
  • Website & Social Media
    • Sponsors will be recognized and promoted on the www.idahogreenfest.org website according to Sponsorship level.
    • The website will contain information about the event (date/time, schedule, map location, parking instructions, sponsors, exhibitors) and will be updated and promoted as appropriate in the time leading up to the event.
    • We will use various means of Facebook and YouTube advertising to share information and videos about Sponsors, Exhibitors, Presenters, Artists, Musicians, and other event features.
  • Program Guide
    • The program guide will be available to attendees and contain information about the event, green living tips, and Sponsor promotion. The program is designed to be used as a year-round resource.
  • Press Releases and Interviews
    • Press releases about the event will be sent to all regional media outlets, accompanied by follow up calls to encourage publication of photos and information about the event.
    • Interviews on radio and for the newspaper will be pursued.
  • Other Resources
    • We will maximize the use of various outlets for free advertising, such as community event calendars, guest speaker opportunities, and community booth space at local events.

Commitment to Positive Messaging

  • The Idaho Green Fest encourages public engagement and hopes to inspire participants to improve the sustainability of our economy and protect our planet from detrimental human behaviors.
  • We encourage exhibitors to use positive messages about what they do and what they support instead of characterizing someone else as a bad actor.
  • The Idaho Green Fest itself does not endorse candidates, legislation, or ballot measures but Exhibitors and Sponsors are not prohibited from doing so, provided they stay positive as described here.
